ABSA – Free State Mathematics Share and Shine

Share and Shine was held on the 10th of August 2016 for the Kroonstad cluster on which on of the performing project school teachers Mrs. Maphutsi from Motswela was invited to share on how to prepare the learners for paper one type of questions. Motswela Secondary is one of the two schools that got 100% in Mathematics in the 2015 Final Examinations.  She was invited to share ways and tips on simplifying mathematics to learners especially Algebra and as well as functions, topics which can be mastered by level 1 learners and they carry a lot of marks.

Mrs Maphutsi highlights to the educators easier ways of dealing with factorising quadratic equations and inequalities that have a coefficient of  which I greater than one.

Educators got an opportunity to discuss some of the methods and the impact they can have on the learners
