Water flows and fir burns

You are in pain when you get hurt but so happy sometimes

Lightning can kill and thunder is scary

Trees grow and leaves fall in autumn

Time goes on and on

Some shops are more expensive than others

Local government makes provision for services such as street cleaning and the health clinic, collection of rubbish as well as providing teachers for your school

If you do not have a car, travelling takes longer

Things are packed in boxes

Heat makes bread go mouldy

If you perform well at school, your teacher and your parents are happy. It makes you happy too

Walking to school can be so tiring

Warm water feels better than cold water on a winter’s day

Cool water is so welcomed on a hot day

If there is too much wind, your kite will get blown away and get caught in a tree

Harvest to be done in time lest the crops spoil

It is wrong to stay out too late or without your parents’ permission

Cities have more facilities than townships and rural areas

Buses and combos take you to school but they cost money

It requires a lot of energy to carry water from the well in wheelbarrows

Games have rules and you may win or you may lose

Money can buy so many things and can be spent so easily

Your favorite team cannot always win

You are growing out of your shoes and clothes

Some people are friendly and helpful, others are mean and selfish

Some days are very hot and some nights are very cold

Your body needs food and exercise

Governments are elected by the people to serve to serve the people

You should help your parents with chores

You know so much. Look at the list again.

You use so much mathematics
