I am Faith Maria Muramba and I matriculated in 2014 at Thuto-Pele High school in Gauteng. I am currently studying BSc in Physical Sciences at the University of Johannesburg. Pure Maths and Physics were some of the major subjects I did in high school. I used to think that Maths and Science were extremely hard, but with the help from the Maths Centre I changed my view. I ended up liking them and finding the two subjects to be quite awesome.

The Maths Center helped me a lot with the extra Saturday classes they offered, they helped me to cope with my Maths and Science workload from school. I wasn’t doing well academically and I couldn’t even do Maths exercises individually. Actually I did not understand Physical Science at all and I always had fear and a negative mindset that said “these subjects are difficult and they are made for a genius”. By attending the classes offered by The Maths Centre, doing the work given and working hard made me a genius too and encouraged me to continue with Maths and Physical Science even at varsity. I managed to pass my matric exceptionally well and received a bursary from the Ekurhuleni Mayor Bursary Fund.

Thanks to the Maths Center, EOH and the tutors for their incredible efforts. To future, I mean to you learners always have a positive attitude about Maths and Science. You can do more by choosing them, work hard, then harder and worry less because Maths Center Got Your Back, Good Luck!!!!!!
